Developing leaders, teams, organisations and systems

What we do

The Westcott Group helps leaders, teams, organisations and systems strengthen their capacity to deliver outstanding services.

We achieve this by designing and delivering bespoke and innovative interventions that stimulate learning, change and development.

Our approach is anchored in a deep understanding of transformation theory and practise and we offer a unique range of skills combined with a vast experience of making change happen.

We engage collaboratively with those who commission our work as well as those who participate in it. We take time to understand the context in which you are operating so that we can design interventions that deliver what you need in the way that you need it.

We help you and your teams, organisations and systems acquire knowledge, shift perspective, change behaviour and develop skills. We enable you to engage in new conversations, build strong relationships and generate imaginative ideas.

We work creatively and experientially in order to offer you stimulation, stretch and challenge and we engage across systems to build communities of influence that can create the necessary conditions for change.

What our clients say

“I was lucky enough to participate in a Women’s Leadership Development programme led by Judy Taylor. It came at a very important time in my development as a CEO and was completely transformational. The content was extremely stimulating and relevant and Judy was both challenging and supportive in delivering it. She helped me clarify my development needs and created a safe environment within which I could listen, reflect, debate and try things out. The experience was fun and inspirational and it hugely enhanced my leadership capacity”.

"Steve's insight and expertise has been invaluable and we have continued to use his help to facilitate strategic work with our clinical team; enabling improvements in our relationships with commissioners and providing help for service evaluation and bid writing. Steve is knowledgeable and responsive and is a helpful support to me and senior members of the team when an outside eye is what we need; I would recommend Steve wholeheartedly".

“The day I spent in one of Amanda’s workshops has had a powerful impact on my confidence, particularly in engaging audiences and effectively delivering presentations so that my key messages are heard and, more importantly, are retained, long after the presentation has ended”.

"Janet helped me develop as a senior leader; she is an absolute joy to work with as a coach: insightful, positively challenging and very supportive”.

“Every time I have worked with John he has demonstrated a unique ability to bring together cross-functional teams that often spanned many separate organisations and drive a process of innovation and cooperation that generated excitement, new ideas, alignment and a call to action that the whole group could get behind. I've seen him do this with groups ranging from 5 people to over 50 people. The fact that John has such an eclectic range of academic and personal interests enables him to use new perspectives, challenge conventional thinking, draw on powerful analogies / similes and force people to think beyond the obvious”.
